Requirements

To apply for a Cyprus Futures License, applicants typically need to fulfill the following criteria:

Capital Requirements
Maintain a minimum paid-up capital as specified by CySEC, which varies based on the scope of services offered (e.g., dealing on own account or managing client funds).
Fit and Proper Criteria
Key management personnel and directors must meet CySEC’s fit and proper standards, demonstrating sufficient experience, integrity, and competence.
Business Plan
Submit a comprehensive business plan detailing the nature of services, target market, risk management policies, and financial projections.
Office and Staffing
Establish a physical office in Cyprus staffed with qualified personnel to manage operations effectively.
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to CySEC regulations, including anti-money laundering (AML) laws, regular audits, and timely submission of financial reports.
Regulatory Fees
